Originally released through his OriginalFake clothing brand in April of 2013, KAWS released an Open Edition version of his much-beloved Passing Through figure on September 5th, 2018. The Brown figure was released exclusively through KAWSONE for a retail price of $200. After significantly high traffic levels caused the website to crash, this figure sold out immediately. Not to be confused with the 2013 edition, this Open Edition is a smaller version that stands at 8 inches tall. KAWS' Passing Through Statues have been displayed worldwide, including galleries in Hong Kong, Fort Worth, and Philadelphia.
